Hunting Bigfoot.

Updated: Mar 31, 2020

Cineasta takes its cameras and hiking boots on the hunt for the elusive creature!

March, 10 2020 - Cineasta's latest contribution to broadcast television recently aired on The History Channel, "Ancient Monster Quest - Bigfoot" produced by First Row Films and Donnie Wahlberg. The Cineasta team was sent into the Sierra Nevada mountains to follow Bigfoot hunters and experts on the quest to find this elusive, haired monster.

Now, we certainly didn't spot the creature, but we retraced the steps of several eye witness's as they retold their encounter. The crew spent several days based out of a cabin near the town of Twain Harte, Ca. and ventured out to several spots where stories of Bigfoot sightings took place.

The show was unique in that it's purpose was not to find proof of Bigfoot, rather than to display all the evidence, stories and encounters, throughout history and all over the world, where folks have had shared experiences that make you question what you think you know about Bigfoot.

"This one is up there on unique production experiences, says Cineasta's Dean Camara. "It was a thrill to be part of this crew and be able to tell this story about this creature we have grown up hearing about. I mean, I come from the generation that remembers the episode of Six Million Dollar Man where he goes one on one with Bigfoot, so it was reliving a lot of childhood memories for me!"

"Ancient Monster Quest - Bigfoot" is currently airing on History Channel now, so check it out.
